Notary Fee and Definition

Georgia Notaries are authorized to perform a notarial act for the execution [signing] of a document.

 

Jurat Fee (verification by oath & affirmation) $5

"Subscribed & sworn to or affirmed before me."

Signer must appear, swear to or affirm the truthfulness of the document content, and sign in presence of notary.

 
Notary Acknowledgment Fee $5

"Do you acknowledge that."

Signer will acknowledge their understanding of the nature and purpose of the document and their willingness to sign. 

 
Oath and Affirmation Fee $5

"Do you swear/affirm under penalties of perjury that."

Verbal ceremony: signer will choose to either (1) swear to God or (2) affirm on their personal honor regarding official duty or document truthfulness.

 
Copy Certification Fee (no public records) $5

A photocopy of a document, judgment, or record that is signed and attested to as an accurate and a complete reproduction of the original document. 

Mobile Notary Travel Fees
